The office is located in the Forest County Visitor Center, 422 Elm Street in Tionesta, a block down along Elm Street from the Forest County Courthouse. The office is open from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and by special appointment.
Forest County CED administers the county’s annual Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) entitlement. Each year the CDBG program provides funding for projects throughout the County which benefit low-moderate income persons.

Forest County CED also manages grant projects from the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC), the Industrial Sites Reuse Program (ISRP), USDA Rural Development and more.
The Director also provides technical assistance for community and economic development projects throughout the County including grant writing assistance for local non-profits, business relocation or expansion, tourism and asset promotion and long-range economic planning.
